AP and Reuters have used AI for automated earnings reports since 2014. Now AI writes sports recaps, weather reports, and data-driven articles. Investigative journalism survives -- for now. But it's a tiny fraction of total journalistic output. The industry's cope: 'AI can't do journalism.' It already does most of it.
