About CopeCheck Careers

What is this?

CopeCheck Careers is an editorial snapshot of AI exposure across jobs and university degrees. It scores the level of cope -- the gap between claims about career resilience and the mechanisms considered by the CopeCheck framework.

The current catalogue was assembled in May 2026. It is not a live labour-market feed, a forecast of job loss, or individual career advice. Scores are editorial assessments using the Discontinuity Thesis Oracle Protocol and may become stale as capabilities and labour data change.

How scores work

AI Exposure Score (0-100): A directional editorial estimate of how much of the job or degree's core activity appeared susceptible to AI and automation when the snapshot was assembled.

Cope Score (0-100): An editorial assessment of discourse around this career's AI resilience. Duplicate captures of one underlying source/event are consolidated and count once; distinct source records remain visible as provenance.

Data sources

Seed descriptions drew on public ONS, BLS and HESA material and on the occupational-risk literature, including Frey & Osborne (2017). The historical rows do not contain a record-level source ledger or observation dates, so their salary, employment and automation fields should be treated as contextual estimates with provenance under review, not as current official statistics or probabilities.
