Philosophy departments cope by claiming they teach 'how to think' -- but AI thinks (or simulates thinking) at superhuman scale. The degree's traditional escape routes (law school, consulting, academia) are all AI-pressured. The ultimate irony: philosophy produced the logical frameworks that underpin the AI systems making philosophy graduates unemployable.
